Game Of The Week
This week's game comes from the club event. I wasn't playing too well and only had one decent game. However, I still managed 2.5 points. Part of the reason was that it was a fast time control (G15), and Dean Brown was trying to keep score.
Here I misplayed the opening and gave Dean a huge advantage, but I figured I would "make the white queen run so fast, she hasn't got time to make you wise." Once I got the white queen traded for the black rooks, I knew my time advantage would allow my queen to "move me on to any black square" for the killer move. If I had to give Dean some advice about this game, it would be to have the rook "move on back two squares."
